This course is an open spec course, meaning any rifle can compete, and all compete together.
The use of a front rest or bi-pod is permitted.  NO artificial rear rest is allowed.

MUZZLE BRAKES ARE PERMITTED, with care and responsibility by ALL shooters to ensure safety, such as proximity to muzzle blast, etc.

Notes:
- An ECI (Empty Chamber Indicator) must be inserted in the rifle unless during prep
time or during the firing period strings.
- Prone, supported (front rest only). Rest must comprise of bipod or a “field” style rest
(sleeping bag, sand bag, etc). No special shooting rests (such as a benchrest pedestal) are allowed.
- Rear of rifle must not be touching the ground or any sort of artificial support.
- ALL EQUIPMENT used at any time must be carried through the entire walk-down. Nothing left behind…

Preparation: The match begins with a 3 minute preparation period. During this time, the shooters may setup, handle the rifle, remove the ECI, insert the bolt and dry fire, make adjustments, etc to make ready for the match to begin.

Sighting: Total of 5 Rounds SLOW FIRE
- 5 non convertible sighters in a 2 minute time limit.
- Sighters shot before first string only – no further sighters during the match (ie. at 500).
- Single round loading only (for sighter period).
- Each shot is individually spotted.

Phase 1: DELIBERATE @ 600 – total 10 rounds.
- Start from the standing position, holding an unloaded rifle.
- When start command is given:
- Time limit of 2 minutes.
- Place rifle on the ground with muzzle towards targets.
- Adopt the firing position and engage target/s.
- Fire a maximum of 10 shots.
- Maximum of 5 shots on each large target. Value 2 points per hit.
OR
- Engage a maximum of 1 hit on any or both the bonus small targets. 5 points each.
- Once firing is complete, groups and scores period (should be short of time possible).

Phase 2
Movement: On command, shooters have 2 minutes to proceed from the current firing point to the next firing point. After 2 minutes expires, the targets appear (go active) and the match automatically starts. There are NO start commands.

Firing: DELIBERATE @ 500 – total 10 rounds.
- As soon as arriving at firing point, remove ECI, adopt firing position, load & be ready.
- String starts as soon as indicated by targets or timing…

Movement: Repeat, per phase 2.

Firing: Repeat, per phase 2.
