If you own a field, 303, Mauser or any type of centrefire rifle, with iron sights or a scope, this is your weekend!

Equip: Either scope or binoculars etc, Shooting Mat, Pen, Eye and Ear protection, licence, Grade Card, etc.

HPR Nationals: Shooters may enter up to 2 rifle spec classes over the weekend – 1 per day only. Shooter chooses which day they will shoot their elected rifle spec, which that score will count towards the Championships. Shooters shooting the same spec over 2 days will have the result from the first day count – there is no “best score” option. The forwards compatible rule applies, so if using Spec 1 both days, the second day will be used in a higher spec.

FRIDAY 14^th – Range open from 12pm until 2pm for sighting and practice at 300m only.

From 2pm until finish (est 3 hours), we will be running the early birds through their 3P match to get through as much of the weekend early. If you are contemplating an early arrival, your participation in this match would be very much appreciated. Depending numbers, we may also make a start on the tactical match as well.

SATURDAY 15th 7.30am Arrival and Sign-on. All rifle types shoot concurrently.

Warm Up 3 shots in 3 minutes @ 200 with each shot marked (any position - supports allowed).

MATCH 1a - National Match Course – Australian Masters (for first spec choice) (All Rifles)

Course: 200, Deliberate - 2 sighters then 10 shots, Standing Off Hand, on NRA SR target – 12min.

(58 rounds) 200, Rapid - 2 sighters, 10 shots 60 seconds, Sitting or Kneeling, SR target. +20sec Int

300, Rapid - 2 sighters then 10 shots 70 sec, Prone.(Scoped Internal mags-10sec extra)

400, Deliberate - 2 sighters then 20 shots, Prone, NRA SR-3 target – 22min

MATCH 2 - 500 Tactical – “ANY Rifle” (any sight) (bi-pod or front rest etc only – no rear rest)

Warm Up 5 shots in 5 minutes @ 500. Entire match shot on SR-3 target.

(20 rounds) - Deliberate, 10 rounds in 6minutes (no marking).

- Double Snap, 5x 6 second exposures, 2 shots per exposure – 10rnds total.

SUNDAY 16th 7.30am Arrival and Sign-on. All rifle types shoot concurrently.

Warm Up 3 shots in 3 minutes @ 400 with each shot marked (any position - supports allowed).

MATCH 1b - National Match Course – Australian Masters (for 2nd spec choice) (All Rifles)

Course: 400, Deliberate - 2 sighters then 20 shots, Prone, NRA SR-3 target – 22min

(58 rounds) 300, Rapid - 2 sighters then 10 shots 70 sec, Prone.(Scoped Internal mags-10sec extra)

200, Deliberate - 2 sighters then 10 shots, Standing Off Hand, on NRA SR target – 12min.

200, Rapid - 2 sighters, 10 shots 60 seconds, Sitting or Kneeling, SR target. +20sec Int

MATCH 3 - 3P CORE EVENT – MSD Match. Std Iron sights rifle (any rifle for fun welcome) 30 rnds.

Warm Up 3 shots in 3 minutes @ 300 with each shot marked (any position - supports allowed).

Course: 300, 5 shots prone - total 1 minute.

(30 rounds) 200, 5 shots prone & 5 shots sitting or kneeling – total 2 minutes.

100, 5 shots prone & 5 shots sitting or kneeling in 2 minutes, 5 shots standing – total 4 minutes

NOTE: MATCH 2 & 3 MAY SWAP DEPENDING ENTRIES AND TIME CONSTRAINTS.

Match 1: Aust Masters - Top Guns - Top 6 Standard. 3x Mod & Match. 6x Optical. Jnrs Open.

Match 2: Optical/Tactical - Top Guns – Agg Top 6 outright

Match 3: 3 Pos Core Match – Std Rifle - Top 3 shooters in each grade (M, A, B, C)

Cost: $45 for all rifle Sat & Sun. Or, $30 Per Day.

Free competitor basic BBQ sausage sizzle lunch Sat & Sun. Pre-nominations not required – just show up.

Accommodation: Full facility camping 3km from range Friday through Sunday for small fee of $10/night.

Full facility Dorm accommodation available for $20/night (meals extra).

SPECIAL: 2-night dorm accommodation package with Sat dinner and Sat/Sun breakfast - $50.

Accommodation is not on the range but located approx 2.5km away in secure & private location.
