If you own a field rifle, factory, sporter, 303, Mauser or any type of centrefire rifle, this is your weekend!
Equip:   Either scope or binoculars etc, Grade Card, Shooting Mat, Pen, Eye and Ear protection, licence, etc.

Warm Up - before each match.  5 shots at starting distance.

FRIDAY    9.00am Arrival and Sign-on.  All rifle types shoot concurrently S1, S1a, S2, S3, S5.

 

MATCH 1   IMC SERVICE NSW STATE TITLES

MATCH 1a     - 1st rifle spec/type choice (All Rifle Specifications).

                        100,     Slow                - 2 sighters then 10 shots, Standing, on NRA SR target – 12min.

                        200,     Deliberate         - 2 sighters then 10 shots, Sitting, on NRA SR target – 12min.

                        200,     Rapid               - 2 sighters, 10 shots 60 seconds, Sitting or Kneeling, SR target.

                        300,     Rapid               - 2 sighters then 10 shots 70 sec, Prone.(Scoped Internal mags-10sec extra)

             400 or 600,     Deliberate         - 2 sighters then 20 shots, Prone, NRA SR-3 or MR-1 target – 22min

 

MATCH 2   TACTICAL STATE TITLES – “ANY Rifle” (any sight) (bi-pod or front rest etc only)

Warm Up         5 shots in 5 minutes @ 400 or 600.                   Entire match shot on SR-3 or MR-1 target.

                        - Deliberate, Prone, 10 rounds in 6minutes (no marking).

                        - Double Snap, Prone, 5x 6 second exposures, 2 shots per exposure – 10rnds total.

 

SATURDAY       7.30am Arrival and Sign-on.  All rifle types shoot concurrently.

MATCH 1b     - Same course for 2nd rifle spec/type choice (All Rifle Specifications)

 

MATCH 2 cont. (Continued for those that missed out Friday – time permitting).

SUNDAY            7.30am Arrival and Sign-on.  All rifle types shoot concurrently.

            300m Slow Fire,           Prone U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              7.5min, Type-B 4x4

            300m  Rapid Fire,        Prone U/S        2 sighters + 5+5 rounds            30-30-30sec,   Fig 11

            300m  Snap Fire,          Prone U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              3sec per shot,   Fig 12

            200m  Rapid Fire,        Sitting U/S        2 sighters + 5+5 rounds            30-30-30sec,   Fig 11

            200m  Snap Fire,          Sitting U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              3sec per shot,   Fig 12

TROPHIES:     Open Class trophies for Juniors – Top 3.

            Tactical NSW State      - Top Guns – Agg Top 3 open rifle outright.

            IMC NSW State          - Top Guns – Top 6x Std.  1x Std 1a, 3x Mod.  3x Match.  6x Optical.

            AMC NSW State        - Top 3 Spec 1, 2, 3, 5 & Top Spec 1a.

 

Cost: $45 for all rifle matches Fri, Sat & Sun.  Or, $30 Per Day.

Non AIHPA members pay $5 event pass to be eligible to titles, or may join on the day.

 

Free competitor basic BBQ sausage sizzle lunch Fri, Sat & Sun.  Pre-nominations not required – just show up.

 

Accommodation Thursday through Sunday:  Full facility camping 3km from range for small fee of $10/night.

Full facility Dorm room accommodation available for $20/night (incl breakfast).
SPECIAL: Thur, Fri & Sat night dorm accommodation package with Fri & Sat dinner - $50

Travel along Mendooran Rd (off Newell Hwy) east from Gilgandra, towards Mendooran, for approx 7-8km.

Look for a northern turnoff side road “Bearbung Rd” - sign posted to Rifle Range 2.5km.

 

Travellers note.  Some GSM, 3G and CDMA mobile services work at range and accomm.  Range operates on UHF Ch30.
